It Takes All of Us

Meet our dedicated leadership team.

Leadership Team

At The Brotherhood Academy, our leadership team is united by a shared mission: to guide, equip, and uplift the young men entrusted to our care. With diverse expertise and Christ-centered dedication, our leaders bring compassion, wisdom, and strength to every decision. Together, we create a foundation of safety, belonging, and purpose so each young man can grow, heal, and thrive.

  • Dr. Scott and Jessica Law serve as the visionary founders and board members of The Brotherhood Academy. With a shared passion for faith-led transformation and advocacy for vulnerable youth, they bring deep experience, compassion, and leadership to the mission.

Dr. Scott’s background in supporting individuals with mental and cognitive challenges fuels his commitment to protecting and uplifting young men in need. His heart for justice, dignity, and Christ-centered care strengthens our mission to provide a safe, nurturing, and purpose-driven environment.

Jessica’s leadership and innovative approach shape program development, communication strategies, and support structures for our families and staff. Known for her vision, teamwork, and strong values, she models grace and excellence for staff and students alike.

Together, the Laws lead with faith, integrity, and unwavering dedication — creating a place where young men are seen, valued, and empowered to build brighter futures.

  • Julie Tarver is a devoted follower of Christ, passionate child advocate, and dedicated mom to two successful grown sons — plus many “bonus boys” she has loved and mentored along the way. With a heart for youth who need a voice, Julie has spent years serving children and families through roles as a Guardian ad Litem, TBRI® Practitioner, and SAMA® Facilitator, equipping her to support healing through trust-based, trauma-informed care.

Her calling is to pour into young men, champion their potential, and reflect Christ’s love in every interaction. Whether she’s leading with vision or spending time laughing, learning, and doing life with the boys, Julie’s mission remains the same: to give hope, build character, and help every young man know they are valued, seen, and deeply loved by God.
